Emerald green bubbles cufflinks

Each piece is handmade and you should expect slight variation in size and shape from this photo. 

Bubbles glass is made by including a chemical (many different oxides and carbonates can be used for this) inside the 2 layers of glass – the glass is put into the kiln and fired at approximately 800C and a chemical reaction happens inside the glass, giving off a gas which is captured inside the glass as pretty blue bubbles.
